LITTLE EMUS
As another part of our junior focus plan for season 2022, we launched our “Little Emu’s” program. Little Emu’s is a program aimed at kids who are turning 3 or 4 who would like to get involved in football and have a little bit of fun along the way. This program is aimed at getting our little ones active and enjoying this great sport of ours while building their confidence for when the time comes and they can join the under 5’s competition. What better way to get the kids out of the house, active and help them make some new football friends.
After a very successful 2022, Little Emu’s is back in 2023. In season 2023, we have built an Under 5’s team from last years little emu’s participants and due to the head start these little ones had due to the skills learnt in the program, they are well on top of their competitions so far this year.
This program will be run by our very own club Coach, Mr Christian Testore, with the help of other coaches from the club
AGE GROUPS: Turning 3 or 4 in 2023
PROGRAM LAUNCH: Monday 22nd of May
DAY: Sessions will be held on Monday nights at Harvey Park. Session kick off times will be 5:45pm
COST: This is a 8 week program
Marayong FC members: $75
Non Members: $85
All kids will receive their own jersey to keep, their own ball to keep and their own water bottle to keep

OUR COACHES
CHRISTIAN TESTORE
Christian is a marayong junior who played at the highest levels with the club such as Premier League. After reaching his peak at Association level, Christian was scouted to play NPL1. Once Christian hung up his boots he went on to coach at representative clubs such as APIA Leichardt and Sydney City Eagles Futsal.
Christian has since retired to family life and over the last couple of years has returned to his boyhood club to join one of our O35 teams. Due to his commitment to the sport and coaching experience in developing young players, Christian was appointed club coach for season 2022.
Little Emu’s will be one of Christians focus programs for this season where he has designed an exciting in-house program for the little ones which is focused on introduction to football, exercise, an most importantly, getting the kids out of the house and building friendships.
